Island Hoppers Duo

Island Hoppers duo features James Rosati Jr. (drums/vocals) and Paul Luther (guitar/vocals). Two experienced musicians from different parts of the World who met up in the Gulf Coast region of Florida in 2015 to bring their unique styles together. 

Paul is originally from England where he grew up learning the classical guitar. After high school he spent years as a touring/session musician, playing guitar for British icons Chesney Hawkes and Toyah Willcox. In the mid '90s he was hired by Warner Bros. signed artists Scarlet with whom he appeared on the TV show Top of the Pops 3 times promoting their hit song 'Independent Love Song', which was featured in the Christian Slater movie 'Bed of Roses'. Paul made the move to the US in 2007 where he continues to enjoy a diverse musical career.

James started playing drums at the age of 3. He studied music diligently throughout his youth and then the opportunity arose in his early 20s to tour Russia and England. After returning from this special experience he continued to dive deep into music, studying jazz fusion, working in a pit orchestra and becoming a studio writer, producer and engineer. His Father was a charismatic singer who showed James a love for entertaining which he still embraces today and brings to every performance. 

Since forming their group, Island Hoppers duo have built a local following and have been in demand for private events because of their diverse style and repertoire. Whether it's a wedding at the Ritz, a corporate function at the Longboat Key Club or a dance party at the Sarasota Yacht Club, they have successfully catered to all!
